Man, I'm a freak! At that weight I'll have nothing to complain about lugging up the hills but my own body--you know what that means, no more excuses. Check out a sampler picture:

And mine will only look about 10x sweeter than that one, pimped out with Sram X.0, Shimano XTR, and Easton carbon stuff...

Whenever you stop in at JB Cycle, you will never leave when you plan to. You always end up telling stories about races, about customers, about school, about politics--you get the point--until you realize that you came in to the shop not to chitchat or work, but to get something done! It took me a full 2 hours just to call QBP and order my components for my frame. Could have taken about 15 minutes, but facter in the JB Cycle effect, and you'll be laughing and telling stories for hours on end.

Today was a good ride. I took the RED BEAST out for a ride (read: Carl the Sweat Man Bennit's old Trek 5500 w/ 8spd DA) and it was great. All aluminum frame and fork is good for the soul. I was cleansed by the constant vibrations on my hands and the gigantic "Klunk!" that ensues when I hit a small crack in the pavement. Without a computer or HR monitor, the ride on the RED BEAST was fun. I got about 3 hours of spinning in between Kaukauna, Wrightstown, DePere, and Oneida.

Tommorw we're doing a TEAM 2 "Farewell to the Camp" ride at 10:00 AM. Everyone should come along, it'll be fun watching me learn how to mtb all over again. Lets do about 3 laps since I'll be rockin my Dad's sweet Giant NRS FS bike.

God I love riding---get out there and have some fun in the colorful leaves, its mtb season!

I wonder if I did this right? Does any one here see this message? I keep getting kicked offline... :( I have a free fast food site. It is all about free fast food related stuff and is worth the time if you like free food.

You'll be pleased with the XTC. I just bought the 2005 XTC Comp. 2 and am very impressed. Mines a bit heavier than yours...23lbs. Probably because its the 2 and not the 1.
