Doesn't this state just have a huge reputation? I felt like I should record the exact date and time that I crossed the Cali border on Tuesday. If California is anything it's cracked up to be, my life should never be the same again!

We met up with our host family yesterday evening--Melissa and Dave are amazing hosts. Everything about the host housing program rocks, and I want to thank each and every family that has put up a team of cyclists. Our sport wouldn't exist in the USA without your help.

Pre race days are usually pretty quiet, pre-riding the courses and attending the always enticing directors meeting. We've contemplated changing our team name from "U25 Devo" to something more exciting, like "U25 pro development, presented by Phil The Thrill.net" . Given that everyone has the word "PRO" in their team name nowadays, we might as well jump on the bandwagon.
